International Meditation Institute begins construction

The opening ceremony for Yunjv Mountain International Meditation Institute in Lushan Mountain was held on June 27. Master Yicheng, honorary president of the Buddist Association of China, and Fu Kecheng, deputy director of the CPPCC Ethnic and Religious Committee, attended the ceremony.
Zhenruchan Temple at Yunjv Mountain is one of the most sacred Buddhist shrines in China and internationally. Many famous Buddhists gained their fame there. Yunjv Mountain International Meditation Institute is an international Buddhism cultural center for Zen theory, education, research and exhibition of Buddhism.
The construction of Yunjv Mountain International Meditation Institute will maintain a Buddhism cultural environment and build an international Zen brand in Yunjv Mountain.
Yunjv Mountain International Meditation Institute has an investment of 48 million yuan ($ 7.55 million) and an area of 19.5 hectares.
The construction also marks a huge step for Yujv Mountain to become the center of Zen in the world.
