11. Changchun University
Changchun University is a provincial full-time comprehensive university in Jilin province. Located in Changchun, capital city of Jilin province, it has three campuses covering a total area of 1 million square meters. The Degree Committee of the State Council accredited the school, which award master’s degrees in the three first-level disciples of mechanical engineering, business management and food science and engineering.

12. Jilin College of the Arts
Jilin College of the Arts is one of the six comprehensive arts colleges in China, that is, one of the six major arts colleges in China and the only comprehensive arts institution of higher education in Northeast China. The college has its origin in the Department of Music, Luxun College of Literature and Arts, Northeast University and was established in 1946. In 1958, officials founded the Jilin Junior College of Arts. In 1978, it became an undergraduate college and officially changed its name to Jilin College of the Arts.

13. Beihua University
Beihua University is the key provincial comprehensive university with the biggest scale in Jilin province. In 1999, the Ministry of Education approved the creation of Beihua University by putting together former Jilin Teacher’s College, Jilin Medical College, Jilin Forestry College, Jilin Junior College of Electrification. It is located in Jilin city.

14. Baicheng Normal University
Located in Baicheng city, Jilin province, Baicheng Normal University is the only undergraduate college in the western part of Jilin province. Its predecessor is Baicheng Junior Teacher’s College, founded in 1958. In August 2000, Baicheng Forestry School merged with Baicheng Junior Teacher’s College. In March 2002, it became an undergraduate college upon the approval of the Ministry of Education. In 2007, it began to offer master’s programs together with Northeast Normal University. In the 2008, it was awarded “good university” by the Ministry of Education in the National Evaluation of Undergraduate Teaching Quality.

15. Tonghua Normal University
Tonghua Normal University is located in Tonghua city, Jilin province, which is a central city in the eastern part of Northeast China. It is the only full-time undergraduate college in the southeastern part of Jilin province.
