The Jilin Tourism Commodity Forum opened in Jiangyuan district, Baishan city, Jilin province, on Sept 3.

The forum was co-hosted by the View Stone Association of China, the Jilin Tourism Commodity Committee, the Jilin Art and Craft Association, and the Jilin Changbai Mountain Songhua Stone Research Society.

At the forum, Zhang Hao, secretary general of the tourism commodity and equipment branch of the China Tourism Association; Shen Tianyi, board chairman of China International Professional Investment Group; and three other specialists and scholars made keynote speeches regarding the macro situation theory, international investment and the integration of cultural tourism industry development, macro tourism commodity distribution, and the culture research of Songhua Stone, offering advice and suggestions for establishing Songhua Stone as a distinctive tourist product of Jiangyuan district.

Wu Zengliang, president of the Jilin Changbai Mountain Songhua Stone Research Society, made a keynote speech titled "Cultural Inheritance is the Foundation and Industry Innovation is the Guarantee" during the forum.
