Square dancing teams compete for big prize in Jilin

About 5,000 women from 16 community residences in the city of Jilin, Northeast China’s Jilin province, took part in a square dancing competition for a prize worth 260,000 yuan ($42,000) at the Century Square on Oct 12.
Square dancing is a common open-air fitness practice across China, and it has gained great popularity with middle-aged or elderly women.
