Sun Yuanxin, an 83-year-old resident of Changchun, capital city of Northeast China’s Jilin province, was once a child laborer in a coal mine in Liaoyuan, in which he witnessed his fellows being tortured to death by Japanese invaders between 1931 and 1945.
According to incomplete statistics, more than 10,000 miners died of work overload.
