The China Culture Industry Summit was held in Changchun, Jilin province, on Dec 20, with the participation of many cultural related companies from home and abroad.

The summit plays a vital role in further deepening cooperative ties in the media and communication industry, which intend to explore potential Chinese markets.

It also helps to expand possible cooperative areas between individual companies, particularly between Jilin province and companies from South Korea, one South Korea participant said.

The latter also made a key note speech on "Report on South Korean Cultural Industry and its Integration".

The Expo is the premier space for cultural entities of Jilin and South Korea to better understand each other and to discuss issues concerning investment, film-making, and creative design, Zhuang Yan, head of Jilin’s propaganda department, said in the opening ceremony of the summit.
