An Uzbekistan business delegation paid a visit to Changchun, capital city of Jilin, on Thursday, Dec 25, to discuss potential cooperation with the province in the field of auto accessories, medical equipment, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Uzbekistan, a country located in central Asia which is rich in mineral resources, has developed good relations with China in the field of energy and infrastructure construction.

The cooperative relationship between the two countries has also brought good opportunities to Jilin with a bilateral trade volume reaching $2.91 million in 2013.

The visiting Uzbekistan delegation, led by a senior official from the Ministry for Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade was in the company of trade officials and heads of companies.

The delegates will hold talks with their counterparts from Jilin’s provincial department of commerce.
