China’s Jilin province received seven awards at the fourth China Tourism Industry Conference in Nanchang, Jiangxi province, on January 22, 2014.

Changchun and Dunhua were ranked among the top 10 “Chinese Beautiful Cities”.

Other awards were presented for publicity, market innovation and smart tourism for the province’s increasing influence in the Chinese tourism industry.

“We are glad to see Jilin has made a breakthrough in tourism marketing innovation,” said Gao Shunli, chair of the conference.

The China tourism awards runs under a strict procedure through internal and external evaluation to assure fairness and transparency.
