Jilin has another record harvest year

Northeast China’s Jilin province, part of China’s bread basket, ranked first for per capita grain production among provinces in the country in 2014, according to a recent conference on rural work in its provincial capital city Changchun.

And per capita disposable income of farmers has maintained steady growth for 15 consecutive years, reaching more than 10,000 yuan ($1,628) last year.
In 2015, Jilin province will continue to implement the central government’s policy of boosting agriculture, benefiting farmers and increasing rural prosperity and take the issues concerning agriculture, rural areas and farmers as a top priority in rural reform.
