Jilin CPPCC session opens the 3rd Session of the 11th Jilin provincial Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), the governmental policy advisory body, opened in Changchun, its capital, on Feb 8, with Huang Yanming, Jilin CPPCC chairman, and nine vice-chairmen, and members of the CPPCC all present.

The will be group discussions, group meetings and a plenary session to take place during the four-day session and representatives are expected to discuss a 2014 report of the provincial government and submit proposals on Jilin’s development.

Bayinchaolu, the Party secretary, and Jiang Liangchao, the governor, and other officials were also present at the opening ceremony.
