Zhang Xian, a Jilin provincial People’s Congress member, has suggested that it’s high time that the e-business be established in the province, which has an abundance of natural resources and is good at food production.

Zhang, who is the manager of the Beixian Agriculture Co, made the remarks in an interview, where he went on to say that an online-marketing service would help Jilin sell more high quality goods and reach a bigger market.

He concluded by saying, "We’ve sold our rice and cereals to many places, all over China, through e-commerce. So, other agricultural products companies in Jilin can do the same."
