The annual meetings of the National People's Congress (NPC) and Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), start on March 3 and 5, with Jilin province sending 64 NPC deputies and 28 CPPCC members to discuss major socio-economic issues such as the judiciary, food safety, environmental protection, and reforms, in Beijing.
Jilin delegation led by Bayinqulo, the Party secretary, held a meeting in Beijing, on March 3.
