The provincial governor watched them rehearse for the Children's Day performance and handed out toys to each of them as festival gifts, and then took part in some reading and arts classes.
At a kindergarten, which teaches in Chinese and English, Jiang inspected the facilities, pointing to the importance of preschool education, and said that educational development was a priority on his work list and urged everyone to show care and support for preschool children. This particular kindergarten is one of the best in the province and focuses on finding children's potential with innovative courses such as happy reading and thought-inspired painting.
The governor's next stop was the primary school sector with a more-than-70-year history, where he watched a show the pupils made at the school's Red Scarf TV Station, then toured the painting gallery with works from the pupils, and took part in a basketball class.
In addition, he got a close look at the school's monitoring and alarm system at the campus police office, where he pointed to the significance of the security work in ensuring safety on campus. In addressing the school staff members and pupils, Jiang wished them all a happy festival and showed his thanks to all employees in children's education.
