NE China’s success in red-crowned crane breeding project

The Jilin Xianghai National Nature Reserve has completed artificial propagation of 36 red-crowned cranes this year, reports the local Jilin Daily on August 7.

The administrators of the place began the research on the rare and endangered bird species many years ago and say that they have made remarkable progress in artificial propagation with the 36 birds this year for a historical high.
