Choosing young volunteers for China-Northeast Asia Expo

There was a contest recently to select young volunteers to help out at the China-Northeast Asia Expo, to be held in Changchun, Jilin proivince, in a primary school affiliated with Jilin University, the local website chinajilin.com, reported on August 9.
The competition had about 40 young people taking part. They were required to give an oral introduction to a particular pavilion to get a chance of being a voluntary guide for the expo.

When asked about the reason for taking this bold step, one of the competitors, Shi Zixuan, who got a score of 100 for the presentation, said charmingly, "I want to extend my warm welcome to all the guests and pass my happiness to them."

The organizers say that all 20 of the participants selected through the competition will be guides for visitors at the expo.
