A restaurant in the city of Jilin, Jilin province that opened on Aug 24, is giving its customers an entirely new dining experience, crionline.cn reports on August 26.

The tables are all set in cell-like rooms and the dishes are served through a window in the “cell”. To make it more authentic, some of the food resembles prison fare a lot, such as steamed corn bread.

People are curious about what real cell life is like, which they can experience here, according to the owner of the restaurant, adding that they also hope people keep away from real prisons.
