At the 10th China-Northeast Asia Expo, which opened in the city of Changchun, Jilin province, on September 1, on hand to address the gathering was Chinese Vice-Premier Wang Yang, who expressed his appreciation for the expo and all it had done in helping develop the countries in Northeast Asia in recent years.

Then Wang visited the pavilions accompanied by Jilin Party Secretary Bayin Chaolu, and Jilin Governor Jiang Chaoliang, in Changchun, Jilin province.

Wang says that he hopes the expo can play a greater role in the region’s economy in the coming years and described his expectations and gave his ideas about cooperation and exchanges in the region.

The expo, a major NE Asia event, took place Sep 1 - Sept 6.
