NE China Internet and health companies looking for grads

Jilin University in the city of Changchu, Jilin province, held its annual job fair for new graduates, which pulled in 30,000 people and 800 companies that were interested, on Nov 18.
Companies tied to the Internet or health care showing increasing demand this year, while those in manufacturing showed declining interest.

The grads taking part said that they put a lot of emphasis on the popularity of a potential employers and its location, with many of them preferring to stay in Changchun, the provincial capital, while other were willing to go to the big city, for example Beijing, Shanghai or Guangzhou.

Jilin University works with four other institutions in the region on this event to try to raise its reputation.
