Jilin CPPCC member encourages private museums

Liu Fangfei, member of the 11th Jilin Provincial Committee of the CPPCC and also a TV anchor, proposed that the government need to open up more private museums embedded with local culture.
"The reality is that there are few private museums in Jilin which cannot show local culture at all," said Liu who went on to say that in South Korea where folk culture museums are commonly seen, so it's not surprising to see a pickle museum.

Liu suggested that Jilin should learn from places such as South Korea to open up more private museum with culture distinctions, and she also said private museums can even design a series of creative cultural products such as stickers or headphones as a way to earn more money.
