A Chinese TV station in New Zealand has been running a documentary on Changbai Mountain, in Jilin province, to show its scenery and nature as part of the culture activities during the 2016 China Jilin Radio and TV Week, which opened in the city of Auckland, on Feb 28.

Zheng Jianting, the head of TV 33, with HQ in Auckland which broadcast the documentary, says the TV station will show more documentaries to give local audience a broader perspective of Jilin's socioeconomic development, people and culture.

A Jilin TV station signed an agreement with the New Zealand Chinese TV station to cooperate in personnel exchanges, program production, interviews and broadcasting. Taking part are the head of Jilin's publicity department Gao Fuping, China's consul general in Auckland, Xu Erwen, and the Chinese TV station head Zheng Jianting.
