Jilin University, in the city of Changchun, in Jilin province says it has been trying to help its graduates secure a job through on-campus fairs as they make the final dash to the finish line as graduation approaches, in June.

One recent job fair, on March 27, saw the university bringing in 420 potential employers who had 15,000 openings on offer and, in the words of the school's deputy Party secretary, Feng Zhengyu who spoke with the recruiters and recommended the school's graduates, "These companies are our good friends and we need to continue our good relations with them."

One HR director of a bus company who took part in the function, commented on the school's graduates by saying that the company is quite satisfied with them and thinks it will certainly find some suitable people among them.

So far, the university says it has held 900 of these on-campus job fairs and is doing its best to help those who are going to graduate this June to put them in connect with potential employers.
