Jilin Party secretary calls for private sector development

The Jilin provincial Party secretary has emphasized the need to develop the private sector and has called for the government to do more to improve economic vitality, during a visit to two cities in the province, April 5-6.
During his visit to a pharmaceutical park in the city of Meihekou Bayinchaolu told park personnel that they should try to attract more companies and focus on the healthcare industry to contribute to local economic growth. The park hosts many pharmaceutical plants and biotechnology companies.
Other companies he visited are in manufacturing, agriculture and automobiles where he got reports on their progress in branding, marketing and R&D, and encouraged them to use an innovative approach for management and technology and make better use of their advantages.

The Party chief went on to emphasize the need for a vibrant private economy in Jilin's overall socioeconomic development and asked local governments to help private entities solve problems they face in production and operation.
Bayinchaolu concluded his tour by telling local officials that, "The cities of Mei Kouhe and Gong Zhuling need to be role models for the development of the private economy."
