2016-05-27
Jilin province says it wants to have closer business relations with European countries so it has sent a delegation, led by the provincial Party secretary, Bayinchaolu, to visit the Netherlands, France and Germany, May 17-24.
It has also announced the signing of a cooperation agreement on automobiles, petrochemicals, food, and natural gas, worth 21 billion yuan, to make good on its idea on closer relations, and making Bayinchaolu into something akin to a traveling salesman, glad-handing and peddling Jilin's economic and investment offerings.
In making the rounds, he has met with policy makers, business people, and the CEOs of major companies.
