2010 Shenyang-Korea Week and World Korea Businessmen Summit

On July 6th, the fifth Shenyang-Korea Week and World Korea Businessmen Summit began in Shenyang, and will end July 9th.

This year, Shenyang-Korea Week and World Korea Businessmen Summit are holding 30 economic, trade and cultural activities.

2010 Shenyang-Korea Week and World Korea Businessmen Summit

Since 2002, Shenyang-Korea Week has become an important bridge of communication and cooperation between China and Korea. Shenyang-Korea Week has launched 248 economic and cultural activities in total. Nearly 900 Korean parliamentary and governmental deputies have attended the event in the past eight years. The Week has been fruitful, with over 1000 joint ventures set up.

For years, Liaoning and Korea have deepened their cooperation in economy, culture, education and many other fields, and promoted friendship between them.

At present, the Liaoning Government is seizing every opportunity to improve the Liaoning coastal economic belt into a national strategic one. It not only strengthens Liaoning’s communication and cooperation with countries from around the world in trade, technology, education and culture, but also creates a favorable investment environment for businessmen at home and abroad to achieve a win-win situation.
