On July 22, Liaoning Travel Bureau agreed to strengthen cooperation with Singapore Travel Bureau, which aims to provide more convenient services and promote the development of tourism.

Liaoning province and Singapore cooperate closely in terms of tourism. The major leaders in Liaoning Travel Bureau visited Singapore several times to hold travel trade fairs. The number of Liaoning visitors to Singapore is increasing yearly. Singapore Travel Bureau also has travel introduction events in Liaoning to present the latest travel news and products to Liaoning people. It also participates in Liaoning’s East Asia International Travel Fair.

In 2009, 40,000 Singaporeans traveled to Liaoning, a 10% increase from 2008. In terms of foreign visitors Singaporean’s ranks 10th.In the first half of this year, 19,900 Singaporeans traveled to Liaoning province, 8.57% increase compared to the same period in 2009. Additionally, more and more Liaoning citizens travel to Singapore.
