Liaoning local taxes increase by 37.1% in first half of 2010

In the first half of this year, Liaoning local tax revenue has reached RMB 72.64 billion yuan, increasing by 19.67 billion yuan from the same period of 2009, increasing by 37.1%. It is 13.6% higher than the average number since the Rejuvenation of Old Industrial Bases in the Northeastern China.

The first half of this year has seen a total increase of 37.1% in provincial local tax revenue. Both of the total number and the growth rate of Liaoning local tax revenue rank seventh in China. The Liaoning coastal economic zone has developed rapidly. Dalian and the other five cities have obtained tax revenue about RMB 35.36 billion yuan, increased by 39.5%.
