Liaoning's exports rank 8th in China

According to the provincial Bureau of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, Liaoning has achieved $20.883 billion in terms of exports, a 47.78% increase and a record high, ranking eighth in China. The number of exports is 12.6 percentage points higher than the national average level and the increase rate ranks second among 10 southeast coastal provinces. Fourteen cities of Liaoning have increasing rates of exports exceeding 30%.

In the first half of 2010, Liaoning's exports were on a rise. June has seen an export income of $3.824 billion, a 30.05% increase. Cities of Liaoning have made great progress in exports, and some cities doubled their export income, including An'shan, Benxi, Jinzhou, Yingkou, Liaoyang and Panjin.

Officials of provincial Bureau of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation said that the increase of exports has laid a strong foundation for achieving the 2010 goal.
