On August 10, youth track and field events were held in Shenyang Olympic sports center. Shenyang won 10 gold medals, accounting for 50% of the total track and field medals.

In the final round of the second women's 1,500m, Wang Meiling from Shenyang won by 4m 27s. Liu Hang, who participated in the second men's 110m hurdles competition, won by 14.53s. A lot of winners come out of August 10, 2010.

One provincial record is broken when the Chaoyang team won 4*100m relay by 41.82s, 0.02s earlier than the historical record. Liaoning was competitive in track and field events.
