A perky 6-year-old girl nicknamed Tiantian, is the youngest wedding hostess in Shenyang, Liaoning Province (and possibly the youngest in China as well), and she hosts ceremonies for free. But if you want to invite her to your wedding ceremony, you have to wait till October. The 1.2-meter-tall girl's real name is Lü Yingjin. Her mother, Zhang, said her daughter's interest in nuptial hostess duties began after she took her to a wedding six months ago.

After practicing for three months at home, Tiantian performed at seven wedding ceremonies in the following three months. Her popularity has grown to the point that she is currently booked solid until October.

A newlywed woman surnamed Wang said Tiantian's upbeat, outgoing style made her wedding wonderful. "My friend recommended Tiantian for my wedding and I'm glad she did. My husband, our families and guests were charmed." Her mother said she has no worries about Tiantian's wedding duties cutting into her school studies. "I think the hosting improves her life skills in areas like self-expression and organization."
