The Liaoning Shuguang Automotive Group Co, Ltd (SG) specializes in vehicles and components, which was first listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2000. It has since grown into one of China’s largest axle manufacturers, the second largest automotive group in Liaoning province, and a base for the export of completed vehicles. It has a national technical center and produces axles and components, passenger vehicles, and commercial vehicles. Two of SG’s prominent brands are Huanghai and Shuguang. Huanghai is a certified well-known Chinese trademark and Shuguang has a reputation for producing the “king” of light-duty axles. It has dominated the light-duty axle market in China for thirteen consecutive years.
