Experts from China's top universities exchanged ideas with Dandong’s entrepreneurs and technicians from instrument and meter companies at the Ninth National Conference for Information Access and Processing, held on August 7.

The theme of this conference was visional measurement techniques and its applications, focusing on the leading and hot issues of the field.

Experts from over fifty renowned universities such as Tsinghua, Peking and Hong Kong Universities took part in conversations with more than forty companies, such as Orient Group Incorporation and Aolong Rays.

Local companies should put more effort in developing techniques and products with their proprietary intellectual property rights for the city’s long-running development of information and instrumentation industry,, said Niu Hanben, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.
