The Korean War Memorial uses the history of the Korean War as its theme. Its main displays are distributed in the gallery, the air force museum, panorama museum and open field weapons display.
All the displays from the museum are distributed in 10 halls. More than 500 historical photos and more than 1,000 cultural relics are on display, augmented by electric charts, video equipment and other modern display facilities, as well as natural light.
Panorama Museum displays a panorama of the battle of Qingchuan River, which was the second battle of the Korean War. The picture is 16 meters high and 132.6 meters in circumference. It is furnished with ground models, special lighting and sound effects to artistically reproduce spectacular war scenes.
Open-Air Weapons Display Field has an area of 2,000 square meters. Military aircraft, artillery, tanks and other heavy weapons used in the Korean War are on display.
Korean War Memorial Museum houses more than 19,500 cultural relics, divided into two Korean War relics and historical artifacts. The current collection includes more than 12,000 Korean War relics, of which 47 are national level cultural relics.
