The Liaoning province city of Dandong opened its Residents' Lecture Hall on Aug 31, organized by the Dandong municipal CPC publicity department and a lecturer volunteer team from the Dandong municipal CPC committee.

The Residents' Lecture Hall is part of the Civilization Messenger Campaign that began on Aug 25. Lectures on traditional virtues, development goals, residents' responsibilities and city civilization development of Dandong city will be given twice a month. Citizens from communities of Dandong city are encouraged to take the courses. A time schedule will be publicized beforehand.

Song Liyue, the standing member of the Dandong municipal CPC committee and director of the municipal CPC publicity department addressed the opening ceremony.
