The Fifth China Wedding Art Festival and China Wedding Innovation Contest were held on April 1, 2012 in Dandong, Liaoning province. More than 300 people working in the wedding industry from over 50 cities in the country attended this activity.

The festival was co-organized by the Dandong municipal publicity department and China etiquette and celebration association. The fairytale wedding "Flowers bloom on Christmas" planned by the Dandong team won the special golden prize.
