From April 13 to 15, the 2012 China domestic tourism fair was held in the International Convention Center in Qingdao, Shandong province. The Dandong delegation attended this fair.

At the tourism fair, the representatives of the Dandong delegation have sent out over 20,000 publicity materials, taking great steps to promote the city as well as seek potential future cooperation.

The China domestic tourism fair is the annual biggest tourism fair over the country sponsored by the National Tourism Administration and local governments in rotation.

To increase the reputation of Dandong's tourism and attracting travelers to the Yalu River border tour, the Dandong municipal tourism bureau, scenic spots and travel agencies participated in the fair.

The delegation introduced Dandong's tourist attractions, unique border landscapes and village tourism projects. The various tourist products and projects of the city have attracted a lot of attention.

Scenic spot representatives were also interviewed by media outlets such as the Shandong tourism channel and Hong Kong cable TV channel 23.

As many as 15 Dandong tourist enterprises participated in the online tourism fair, fully displaying the city's beautiful sceneries and diversified tourist products.
