A delegation of 40 entrepreneurs from Hong Kong and south Jiangsu province paid a visit to Dandong on August 6. The entrepreneurs visited the Lingang Industrial Park to focus on the development plans of the Donggang west area and Feicuiwan, two major construction projects in the city.

The entrepreneurs hail from over 20 well-known enterprises including the Hongdou Group Co Ltd and Kaisa Group Holdings Ltd.

Shi Guang, mayor of Dandong, introduced Dandong's strategic advantages in regards to location, rich mineral resources, industrial foundation and transportation network. "Dandong also enjoys many preferential policies as one of the major cities in the old northeastern industrial base and a regional leading city in the eastern part of northeast China," said Shi.

Entrepreneurs showed their interest in the city's investment environment and intended to seek opportunities for future cooperation and mutual development.
