A delegation of South Korea's Hanwha Group visited Dandong in Northeast China's Liaoning province on Aug 7. Shi Guang, mayor of Dandong, met with the delegation.

Shi briefed the delegation about Dandong's industry pattern and investment environment. He said that with the development of new urban district and economic zones, Dandong has entered a stage of rapid expansion and become a popular investment destination. Dandong expects to cooperate with the Hanwha Group in the fields of real estate, logistics and chemical industry.

Established in 1952, the Hanwha Group ranks 321 among the Top 500 global companies in 2011, with 54 subsidiary companies and 69 oversea branches around the world.
