The Dandong Border Economic Cooperation Zone (DBECZ) has reviewed and approved 2,884 service items to date, maintaining a record of zero mistakes and zero service complaints, according to the zone on Dec 6, Yalu River Evening News reported.
The management committee of the zone invested nearly 400,000 yuan ($64,040) in renovating the office hall of the service center this year to create an open working environment.
In addition, the zone also hopes to keep the public informed of government affairs by opening hotlines and websites for supervision and complaints. Its service procedures have also become open, transparent, modern and convenient.
Local authorities have also organized intermediary service agents, such as accounting firms and banks, to provide services to help enterprises increase work efficiency.
