A high-tech development district in the north part of the city of Shenyang, Liaoning province held a signing ceremony for a 4-billion yuan ($614 million) robot industrial park project arranged by the Beijing Damo Technology Co and Chinese Academy of Sciences' Puli Intelligent Robot Laboratory, on March 2.

The project calls for robot industrial chain involving R&D, production, sales, displays, and financing for use in entertainment, education, .and tourism, working with the world’s leading companies. The site is near the new Shenyang north railway station and north 4th Ring Rd.
