The Fifth Aircraft Owner and Pilot Association Fly-in was held at Faku county in Shenyang, Liaoning province, from Aug 26-28, Xinhua reported.
The fly-in was expected to promote the Caihu air travel brands of Faku county and push the development of Shenyang's aviation industry and related industries like sports, culture, and travel.
The three-day event attracted some 150,000 people and several internationally-famous aerobatic teams including Paul Bennet Airshows from Australia, and the Silver Cup from New Zealand.
During the event, seven projects covering tourism development and the aviation industry were agreed. Aircraft sales worth around 158 million yuan ($23.67 million) were also agreed, involving the purchase of 49 new aircraft.
The event was hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), the Shenyang and Faku governments, the Shenyang Aviation Industry Office and the sports bureau of Shenyang municipality.
