The TBEA Shenyang Transformer Group Company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of TBEA and was established in 1938. It has more than 74 years history of transformers, electric reactors and professional manufacturing. It is the R&D and manufacturing base with the longest history, largest scale and strongest technical strength in China's transformer industry, and ranks at the top on many occasions both in China and abroad in its development history.

The company covers an area of about 720,000 square meters, and owns more than 560 sets of sophisticated testing equipment. It has the world's highest voltage level, the most perfect quality assurance system, and its world class special high-voltage AC and DC transmission technology industrial park owns best testing and production equipment, and a world-class production environment. The production capacity of its transformer single plant is over 100 million kVA, ranking first in the world and No. 1 of the Top 10 transformer companies in China.

Its personnel holding a bachelor degree accounts for 38% of the workforce. Among the 321 professional R&D personnel, there are 2 academicians from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, 16 professor-level senior engineers, 107 senior engineers, and more than 120 international professionals and medium and senior skilled people. The highly qualified staff bring about leading technology, and lay a solid foundation for reliable quality.

The company has the only National Engineering Laboratory in THE Chinese transformer industry, and has passed various international management system certifications in quality, environment, sanitation, and safety, such as ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18000, FMRC of the United States, GOST of Russia, KEMA of the Netherlands, TUV of Germany, CE from the EU, and CESI of Italy.

The Company has been actively promoting its production automation, product intelligence, management and service information, and has successfully realized the products operation of world's highest voltage level UHV 1000kV, ± 800kV DC, developed the world's first 400MVA/1000kV ultra-high voltage step-up transformer, 700MVA/500kV world's largest single-phase capacity nuclear power transformer and a series of other world firsts.

In the past nine years, the company has developed 61 types of world-class products, achieved more than 200 patents, been involved in 38 industry standards at home and abroad, and won more than 60 national, provincial and municipal scientific and technological progress awards, including three National Science and Technology progress Award, China's machinery industry scientific and technological progress special award and more than 10 first prize.

The company has established 27 overseas offices in eight regions around the world, with its products sold to more than 30 countries and regions. The company successfully built a plant in India, and achieved high-end products to export in batch to the United States, Canada, Russia and other countries, and has successively undertaken complete power transmission projects in India, Pakistan, the Philippines and transformer repair works in Indonesia, realizing the leap from "Equipment in China" to "Equipment around the world".
