The 2016 Northeast Asia Environmental Protection Expo was unveiled at Shenyang International Exhibition Center on Sept 20, with the aim of promoting environmental awareness and advocating eco-friendly development and lifestyles.
Around 200 businesses from both home and abroad which are undertaking research into environmental protection technology or produce related products, attended the three-day event. The companies came together to share and exchange their most advanced technological achievements, along with exploring possible solutions on tackling levels of PM2.5, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), water pollution and other environmental problems.
Sponsored by the Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences and Foreign Economic Cooperation Office at the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the expo contains seven exhibition areas, and the exhibited products cover a range of fields including clean energy, testing instruments, water pollution control and solid waste disposal treatments.
The expo has a special exhibition area for Japanese and South Korean businesses.
Among all the exhibited products, an air monitoring car and a container fog gun have drawn the attention of visitors, which are used for the monitoring and prevention of haze and fog.
The expo is expected to provide a platform for environmental protection products, and boost the application of new technology and products.
