A Shenyang hospital recently reached an agreement with Singapore's top medical institution to cooperate on setting up an in vitro fertilization (IVF) center to provide fertility services for local residents.
The agreement was reached between Shenyang Orient Jinghua Hospital Co and the Sincere Healthcare Group in Singapore on June 7.
The chairman of the Sincere Healthcare Group revealed that the center will provide one-stop services to tackle fertility problems with leading technologies introduced from Singapore; and the two sides will take part in academic exchanges –– sharing both experts and patients.
Investment in the center is expected to total 50 million yuan ($7.36 million).
It is the third time a healthcare provider from Singapore has set up a medical institution in China; the other two are located in Xiamen, Fujian province and Chengdu in Sichuan province.
