Liaison officers to boost Heping’s business environment

Heping district in Shenyang, Liaoning province announced that it had employed 150 liaison officers to help improve communication between government and the private sector on Jan 29 –– an important step in creating a sounder business environment.
The liaison officers, comprising of Party representatives, NPC members, CPPCC members, union representatives, and representatives from the association of industry and commerce, will provide a one-to-one service to the top 100 firms contributing the most in taxation, as well as to another 29 key projects under construction.
They will advise the government of policies that are not working and help devise solutions.
The newly-launched supervision mechanism is anticipated to improve the business environment of Heping district and attract more enterprises to the area.
