The building complex of Baisha civilian residence

 

Located 8 kilometers north of Dayan old quarter, it once served as the political and economic center of Lijiang in the Song and Yuan Dynasties (960-1368). Standing on the axis of the south-north direction, the complex has a trapezoid-shaped square in the center. Shop fronts stand by the street, welcoming a spring from the north side.
