On the Seventh Culture Heritage Day, the Lijiang Intangible Culture Heritage Protection Center held an awards ceremony to honor excellent intangible culture inheritors. Twenty folk artisans won the honor under strict appraisal.

With the theme of "Culture Heritage and Culture Prosperity", the Seventh Culture Heritage Day aimed to make more progress and arouse awareness in protecting intangible culture heritage.

To protect the inheritors of intangible culture heritage is one of the core ways to protect intangible culture heritage. The inheritors play an irreplaceable role in maintaining and developing intangible culture heritage. Therefore, the Lijiang municipal government has been providing support for inheritors and for their work.
