The Yulong county song and dance troupe has been invited to attend the 12th International Folk Art Festival to be held in mid-August 2012 in Brazil. The performers of the troupe are now busy with rehearsals.

This year marks the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the Brazil Folk Art Association. Hundreds of folk artists from countries and regions around the world have been invited to the folk art festival.

Performers in the Yulong song and dance troupe vary in age, with the eldest being 68 years old and the youngest 17. They said that they cherish this opportunity very much and expect to carry out cultural exchanges with foreign artists during the festival.
