Yunnan Xiangpeng Airlines opens base in Lijiang

Yunnan Xiangpeng Airlines Co Ltd, a branch of Hainan Airlines Co Ltd, opened a base in Lijiang, Yunnan province, on Aug 22, which will offer services such as tickets for travel on its flights, various scenic spots and shows, as well as insurance policies and hotel reservations, according to xinhuanet.com.

In addition, passengers flying Xiangpeng Airlines to Lijiang can enjoy a service called “Lijiang FUN”, which includes discounts at various dining facilities.

The airline also hopes that this base in Lijiang will serve as its second aviation hub in the province, after Kunming airport.

The airline operates 10 air routes linking Lijiang to other cities, and the company aims to explore the possibility of new routes with flight times of under two hours, including some international routes, to and from Kunming and Lijiang.
