ICN shoots video of Mosuo culture in Lugu Lake

Recently, a camera crew from America's ICN TV Network, the largest Chinese-oriented television media company in North America, filmed footage at the scenic Lugu Lake for its hot program Joy in China.

The Joy in China crew sought to capture the scenery and folk culture of Lijiang from all angles. It follows the host Sharif Ullah on his fun-filled trip to the city over three episodes, namely Laowai in Lijiang, Yulong Naxi Culture, and Mosuo Folklore. Each episode is 30 minutes.

The Mosuo episode focused on the lifestyle, dining, costumes and special practices of zouhun, or "walking marriage". In zouhun, a man and woman can get to know each other by singing love songs or contacting each other in daily life activities. And the man will visit his lover's house with a piece of fat meat. to feed the dog and go into the woman's house through the window. Lijiang has attracted attention in America since the launch of its publicity film in Times Square, New York.
