2m tourists visit Lugu Lake in 2013

Visitors and tourism income at Lugu Lake hit record highs in 2013, according to the provincial administrative committee of the Lijiang Lugu Lake tourism zone.

Compared to 2012, Lugu Lake received 2.17 tourists, up 61.74 percent. Ticket sales increased 60.27 percent to 48.8 million yuan ($8.08 million), and tourism revenue grew 65.55 percent to 2.04 billion yuan.
